Ketamine Pennsylvania is an independent information resource about ketamine and Spravato treatment in Pennsylvania. We are not a clinic. We do not treat anyone, we cannot book appointments or make referrals, and we are not certified under the Spravato REMS programme.

What we are not

Not a clinic and not a treatment provider.
Not a REMS-certified facility. Only the official locator can tell you which clinics are.
Not able to book you an appointment or refer you to anyone.
Not able to tell you whether a treatment is right for you. That is a conversation with a clinician who knows your history.
Not paid by any clinic to list them, and no clinic can pay to be removed.

How this is funded

This site is operated as part of a small portfolio of health information sites. It carries no advertising from clinics, sells no leads to treatment providers, and takes no payment for listings or placement in the directory.

There is one commercial relationship worth naming plainly: some of our blog posts aimed at clinic owners and practice managers carry a promotion for credentialing software, from which the operator may earn revenue. It appears only at the end of posts written for that audience, labelled "For clinics", and never on the pages written for patients. If you are here as a patient or a family member, you should never encounter it.

How the content is produced and reviewed

Pages are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a person before publication. Every regulatory, legal, coverage and pricing claim is verified against a primary source — a statute, a state agency document, an FDA label, or a published payer policy — and recorded in a ledger with that source and the date it was checked.

That ledger is not an internal document. It is published in full at our sources page, with the next review date for every claim.

Our sourcing rules

Every claim that can go out of date carries a source and a visible date.
Claims that apply nationally exist in exactly one place, so one correction fixes every one of our state sites at once.
State claims are written from that state's own law. We do not reuse one state's answer for another, and our build rejects near-duplicates across states.
An overdue claim fails the build. If a page is live, nothing on it is past its review date.
Where we do not know, we say so rather than estimating. Our cost tool is built to refuse rather than guess.
We do not publish success rates or response rates without the population, the endpoint and the citation.

About the clinician directory

Our directory is built from the federal NPI registry, filtered by specialty. That tells you a clinician is registered and holds a relevant specialty code. It does not tell you they offer ketamine treatment, and it does not tell you they are REMS-certified. We say so above the list, on every provider record, and here.

We used to describe these as "verified providers". That was wrong, and we have stopped.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Email corrections@ketaminepennsylvania.com and tell us which page and what is wrong. We will check it against the source and, where we were wrong, fix it and record the correction with its date.

We publish corrections rather than quietly editing. A visible correction history is a stronger signal than an unblemished one.

Correction log

18 July 2026 — Spravato and oral antidepressants: We had stated that Spravato could not be taken on its own. The FDA approved it as a monotherapy for treatment-resistant depression on 17 January 2025, so a companion oral antidepressant is optional for that use. Corrected, and the claim now exists as a single record shared by all our state sites so the same error cannot recur in one place and not another. The separate approval for depression with acute suicidal thoughts does still require an oral antidepressant, and we now say so distinctly.
18 July 2026 — Prescription monitoring requirements: We had described prescription monitoring database checks as mandatory before prescribing any controlled substance, including ketamine. That was not accurate in several states, and in Indiana it described a legal obligation that does not exist. Each state's rule is now written separately from that state's own statute, and the three distinct questions — what is reported, when a prescriber must check, and whether ketamine is covered at all — are answered separately.
18 July 2026 — "Verified providers" and out-of-state listings: Our directory described listings as "verified providers", which overstated what the federal registry confirms. It also included clinicians registered in other states, because the underlying search had no state boundary. Both are fixed: the listings are scoped to this state at source, the count shown is the exact number on the list, and the wording now says what the data does and does not establish.
